As the world waited for white smoke to rise above the Sistine Chapel, we spoke with two priests of the Archdiocese of New York studying in Rome at the Pontifical North American College. Just an hour before Pope Leo XIV was elected, they reflected on the spiritual and historical significance of being in St. Peter’s Square for the election of the Successor of St. Peter.
Donations have helped fund construction projects at a parish in Haiti.
