The Archdiocese of New York is pleased to present its Synod Interim Listening Sessions Synthesis Report. The Synod Interim Listening Sessions were held on March 23, 2024, at St. Joseph’s Seminary, in both English and Spanish. Following the sessions, the archdiocese’s Office of Adult Faith Formation’s Special Projects and Events team drafted a synthesis, which, after internal review, was submitted to Cardinal Timothy Dolan, who in turn approved it. A copy of the document was shared with the USCCB Synod team and also with the New York State Catholic Conference. A regional synthesis will made from the various New York diocese and send to the USCCB Synod team.
