More than 6,000 pilgrims came from all over the diocese to Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens for the Eucharistic Revival.

"The church is a family of families," said Gabriela Ross, director of the Indianapolis Archdiocese's Office of Marriage and Family Life.

The plenary indulgence for the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage is granted to anyone who participates in the pilgrimage between May 17 and July 16.

Planned for July 17-21 at Lucas Oil Stadium and the adjacent Indiana Convention Center, the 10th National Eucharistic Congress is expected to draw tens of thousands of Catholics.
