Dorothy Day has been an outstanding figure in the Archdiocese of New York and in this series she is shown as the caregiver for the worker and the common people.
This is an important viewpoint when discussing the aspects of the pro-life movement, as a healthy and enduring person is the ideal goal of a new life coming into the world.
The bishop emphasized the USCCB's opposition to the chemical abortion drug not only for its purpose of terminating life, but also that the abortion pill represents an isolating and harmful response to women in need.
