The departure of Jesus on Ascension Thursday is not a disappearance. God will remain. Jesus went to the Father to be present with us in a different way.
Today Jesus once again tells us not to be afraid. When we’re in the middle of a storm, we can trust that God is in charge and has a plan for us.
