Healing is one of the important goals of the National Eucharistic Revival, a three-year initiative sponsored by the United States Bishops.
Bishop Joseph Espaillat gave a powerful talk on healing at the National Eucharistic Congress in Indianapolis on Friday. He said that healing can be found in the wounds of Jesus Christ and that, “we can be made whole only if we present our wounds to the Savior.”
The talk was followed by praise and worship. The entire gathering called down the power of the Holy Spirit and asked to be healed, body and soul.
We asked Bishop Espaillat why healing is a vital part of this National Eucharistic Revival.
