The Marian Shrine in Stony Point hosted its Rise Up Festival this weekend in honor of the Solemnity of the Assumption.
The annual event draws together families and friends from around the area for a day of fun and faith including Mass celebrated by Bishop Edmund Whalen, Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of New York and vicar for clergy.
Father Burke spent over 40 years at Cardinal Hayes High School in the Bronx as a priest, educator, and counselor.
