Labor Parade Draws Laborers from Around the State to St. Patrick’s Cathedral

The Good Newsroom spoke with laborers who work closely with Catholic Charities NY and members of the Dorothy Day Guild at this year’s Labor Parade in Manhattan.

The celebration honors workers and proclaims solidarity with unions.

The group appealed a Wisconsin Supreme Court ruling that Catholic Charities must pay into the state's unemployment insurance system because its operations aren't primarily religious.
