Labor Parade Draws Laborers from Around the State to St. Patrick’s Cathedral

The Good Newsroom spoke with laborers who work closely with Catholic Charities NY and members of the Dorothy Day Guild at this year’s Labor Parade in Manhattan.

The celebration honors workers and proclaims solidarity with unions.

The Albert V. Maniscalco Community Service Award was presented at Monsignor Farrell High School, where Bishop Whalen was previously a student, teacher, and principal.
