In today’s first reading, Saint Paul tells us everything passes away, even the great things in life. However, in the Gospel Jesus speaks of what will endure. 23 years ago, we saw a bit of each, didn’t we? On 9/11, we saw thousands of innocent lives lost, but we also saw noble, heroic virtue.
For the first time in centuries, Church leaders were barred from celebrating Palm Sunday Mass at one of Christianity's holiest sites.
