Cardinal Dolan Praises Mission of St. Ignatius School in the Bronx

Honoring a cherished tradition in Jesuit education, on Thursday Cardinal Dolan celebrated the Mass of the Holy Spirit for St. Ignatius School in the Bronx to mark the beginning of the school year.

It was the Cardinal’s first visit to the school to see how they are empowering low-income students of all faiths to become their best selves through quality Catholic education.

In this in-between stretch of Ordinary Time, between the high feast of Christmas and the solemn preparation of Lent, we find ourselves in a new place as we settle into the New Year.
