Jesus encourages us to consider the signs of the times. When we experience our world tumbling down, we can recall what Jesus says today in the Gospel: that He is with us. We have no reason at all to ever lose heart.

The archbishop joined hundreds in prayer on November 23 at St. Patrick's Cathedral to commemorate those who died in the Holodomor, a man-made famine in Ukraine engineered by Soviet Union leader Joseph Stalin between 1932 and 1933.
