








On November 23, Fordham University hosted the Second Annual Conference Day for Consecrated Religious Sisters and Brothers, organized by the Archdiocese of New York’s Office of the Vicar for Religious.
Titled “Pilgrims of Hope,” the event brought together religious communities for a day of reflection, prayer, and fellowship. The day was a chance to reflect on the need for peace and to answer the call to be witnesses and prophets of hope and peace, particularly in view of the upcoming 2025 Jubilee Year.
Archbishop Ronald Hicks and Father Dave Dwyer talk about Cardinal Dolan’s anniversary, why we celebrate the Feast of the Ascension on Thursday, the meanings of Pentecost, Pope Leo’s upcoming encyclical on human dignity and artificial intelligence, the duty of the Church to engage with the world, and answer a question about the Easter Season.
