The grotto at Lourdes was once a garbage dump, and today Cardinal Dolan explains that to this day, pilgrims to the cave still leave “trash” like their sins, anxieties, and woes behind.
Earlier Tuesday, the Holy Father wrote to the bishops of the United States affirming their work on behalf of migrants and refugees and offered his support, moral encouragement, and prayers.
