St. Stanislaus Kostka Parish in Pleasant Valley brought the spirit of Lent to life on Friday, March 21, with a community fish fry organized by the local Knights of Columbus Council 7875.

Parishioners gathered to share a simple meal, deepening their sense of fellowship while supporting local charities through the evening’s proceeds.

The event highlighted the communal aspect of Lent—coming together not only to fast but to serve and uplift one another.

The night concluded with parishioners praying the Stations of the Cross in the church, a powerful Lenten tradition led by 7th and 8th graders from the community.

Together, the meal and prayer offered a meaningful reminder that Lent is a journey best walked in community, with faith, generosity, and hope.
