NY Catholic Schools are Earning National Praise

Recent national test scores show a drop, once again in proficiency in English Language Arts (ELA) and math among government school students across America.

Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of New York, and around the country, saw no such declines and in some cases scores even improved.

We spoke with Michael Deegan, Superintendent of Schools for the Archdiocese, about the strong performance from the Catholic school system.

Initiated as a fundraiser for the Wounded Warrior Project, the club has evolved significantly over the past decade.
