Twenty-five students worked alongside campus ministers to pack, load, and deliver over 75 bags of food to St. Charles Borromeo Church.

Students from Iona Preparatory School in New Rochelle took part in a month-long Thanksgiving Food Drive to help those in need of assistance with a Thanksgiving meal.

On November 22, 25 students worked alongside campus ministers to pack, load, and deliver over 75 bags of food to St. Charles Borromeo Church in Harlem for local distribution.

Both Upper and Lower School families contributed to the drive, which has been a school-wide tradition for more than a decade.

Mr. Mark D’Urso (LS’76 US’80) continued his family’s longtime generosity to the drive, donating a gift for the school to provide over 75 turkeys, along with sacks of potatoes and onions.

In keeping with the holiday spirit, in December the school community turns its focus to a more than 30-year toy drive benefitting students with developmental or health impairments at Hawthorne Country Day School.
