In honor of the 175th anniversary of the elevation of the Archdiocese of New York, Father Enrique Salvo, the rector of St. Patrick’s Cathedral, emphasizes the profound historical, symbolic, and spiritual significance of the Mother Church of the archdiocese.
He also highlights the importance of St. Patrick’s Cathedral as a “living cathedral,” where Masses and religious events of the liturgical calendar are celebrated daily, as well as papal visits.
