Cardinal Lucian Muresan, head of the Romanian Greek Catholic Churcl, major archbishop of Fagaras and Alba Iulia, died September 25 at the age of 94.

In addition to tending to spiritual needs, the Catholic Church offers assistance to those in need. Today we celebrate the feast of St. Vincent de Paul, who established several orders to help the poorest of the poor.
