Archdiocese of New York Auxiliary Bishop Edmund J. Whalen (left), Cardinal Timothy Dolan (center left) and Auxiliary Bishop Joseph Espaillat (at microphone) offer a blessing hundreds of young pilgrims who participated in the Our Lady of Guadalupe procession and then Mass on the Our Lady’s feast day, December 12, 2025, at St. Patrick’s Cathedral.

Friday’s celebration of Our Lady of Guadalupe started with a procession of the faithful through the streets of Manhattan. The group walked to Saint Patrick’s Cathedral, where Mass was celebrated by Cardinal Dolan. Reverend Luis F. Saldaña, pastor of Immaculate Conception Church in the Bronx, was the homilist. Adoration, reverence, and celebration filled the hearts of all who participated.

La celebración de viernes de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe comenzó con una procesión de fieles por las calles de Manhattan. El grupo caminó hasta la Catedral de San Patricio, donde el cardenal Dolan celebró la misa. Reverend Luis F. Saldaña, pastor de la iglesia de Immaculate Conception Church en el Bronx, fue el homilista. La adoración, la reverencia y la celebración llenaron los corazones de todos los que participaron.
