In the homily from this morning’s Mass, Cardinal Dolan discusses today’s Gospel in which Jesus gives us the eight Beatitudes.

When Peter was crucified, he realized that life is all about the One called Jesus — the way, truth and life. Jesus turned Peter’s world upside down and that’s what Jesus does in the Beatitudes. He takes the values of this passing world and turns them upside down.
