St. Patrick’s Cathedral honored NYPD officers and other first responders who died in the 2001 attacks with a Mass on Friday, Sept. 11, marking the 25th anniversary of the tragedy at the World Trade Center. Msgr. Robert Romano, pastor of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Dyker Heights and an NYPD chaplain, served as the celebrant and homilist. In his homily, Romano expressed gratitude to the first responders for their service and commitment.
