Nuns Providing Free Care for Terminal Cancer Patients

Meet the Dominican Sisters of Hawthorne, nuns caring for terminally ill cancer patients who are unable to afford nursing care elsewhere.

The community was founded in 1900 by Rose Hawthorne, a convert to Catholicism and the daughter of American author, Nathaniel Hawthorne. We stopped by to learn more about the community and their work.
