In our first reading, we have references to angels. They are present, intelligent beings who stand before God.
We see their actions throughout the scriptures and history. We can call on them and ask for their intercession.
The vigil is hosted each January by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops’ (USCCB) Pro-Life Secretariat, the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C., and The Catholic University of America’s Office of Campus Ministry.
