Creating A New School Model at St. Philip Neri

The Archdiocese of New York is creating a new school model at St. Philip Neri, an elementary school that has been serving students in the Bronx for over 100 years.

The new initiative is called the Catholic Education and Family Center and will be the blueprint for transforming other schools across the Archdiocese.

The Good Newsroom went to find out more ahead of the opening in September.

Sister Alice Conrad (Mary Frances), a member of the Sisters of the Divine Compassion for 71 years, entered eternal peacefully on October 27, 2024. She spent the majority of her ministry serving the people of Westchester County in schools, homeless shelters, soup kitchens, and government, as well as daycare centers and summer camp programs.
