Sisters of St. John the Baptist Announce New Leadership Council​

New provincial superior and councilors will serve a four-year term

The Congregation of the Sisters of St. John the Baptist of the American Province have announced their new leadership council for 2023-2027:

Sister Mary Cecile Swanton, Provincial Superior

Sister Seline Mary Flores, 1st Councilor, Vicar

Sister Lucita Bacat, 2nd Councilor

Sister Antonia Marie Zuffante, 3rd Councilor

Sister Joseph Paul Manderine, 4th Councilor

The Sisters request prayer for their perseverance, courage, and strength so that they are able to heed the mandate of their chapter theme: “Do Whatever He Tells You,” and as they begin their new roles in service to the Sisters of the American Province.

Founded and headquartered in Italy, the American Province of the Baptistines minister in the United States to the people of the Archdioceses of New York and Newark, New Jersey; and the Dioceses of Brooklyn; Paterson, New Jersey; and Diocese of Charleston, South Carolina. 

The vehicle is the first of its kind in the Archdiocese of New York.
