Today we celebrate the feast of Saint Teresa Benedicta of the Cross.
She was born Edith Stein, converted to Catholicism, and took the name Saint Teresa Benedicta of the Cross. Pope Saint John Paul II had a great devotion to her as a philosopher. Her philosophy was one of love and unity.
