
Pope Francis Praises First Native American St. Kateri Tekakwitha

During his Weekly General Audience today in the Vatican, Pope Francis praised St. Kateri Tekakwitha, the first Native American saint of North America, who was born in upstate New York. He encouraged us to learn from her how to “perform ordinary actions in an extraordinary way.”
