As we celebrate the feast of Saint Francis Assisi, he reflects on his recent retreat with his brother bishops and times of prayer.

New bishop promises to listen and learn as he prepares to lead upstate New York diocese.

Like the disciples in today’s Gospel, when we are afraid, Jesus is with us.

Born in New York City, he was ordained on June 22, 1991, by Cardinal John O’Connor, and appointed a bishop on January 25, 2022, by Pope Francis.
