NASA Astronaut Tom Jones’s real-life story of receiving the Eucharist in space has been made into a children’s book.
The veteran astronaut originally shared the story in his memoir: “Sky Walking: An Astronaut’s Memoir,” published in 2006.
When digital media strategist Cecilia Cicone read it, she was inspired to turn the story into an educational and inspiration book for children and thus “Jesus in Space: A True Story That’s Out of This World,” was born.
Both Tom and Cecilia were on hand at the Sheen Center for Thought and Culture in Lower Manhattan on Wednesday to share more about this incredible story.
