You can watch Father Salvo’s homily from this morning’s Mass at Saint Patrick’s Cathedral here.

Fr. Salvo discusses the childhood of the Son of God. The Son of God became one of us and lived a simple life of humanity, humbleness, and routine. We cannot fathom how this must have been for our Blessed Mother and St. Joseph given everything they saw and lived in the first Christmas. The Creator of the Universe had the typical life of a child growing in love and wisdom.

For us, it also shows that we should allow His divine life to come into our humanity and imitate His childlike simplicity.

Archbishop Ronald Hicks and Father Dave Dwyer talk about participating in Holy Week, parishes in the Archdiocese of New York, the Stations of the Cross, growing interest in the Catholic Church, Pope Leo’s homily calling us to peace, and a few questions from listeners.
