Yesterday was the feast of St. Josephine Bakhita, the patron saint of those who have suffered from human trafficking.
Kidnapped in Sudan and sold into slavery, she was adopted by an Italian family, and from them she learned the Catholic faith.
On the Feast of the Baptism of the Lord, Cardinal Dolan reflects on the focal point of the new mural at St. Patrick's Cathedral: the Lamb of God.
