In this morning’s Gospel we meet a rather familiar scene in the life of Jesus, where He cures a leper. But Jesus did not only cure bodily leprosy. He knew there was moral leprosy that can afflict all of us.
Beginning on January 6, Pope Leo XIV has made use of a new pastoral staff which “stands in continuity” with those used by his predecessors.
