He was an apostle for the dying and a founder of Calvary Hospital in the Archdiocese of New York. Today we have his funeral Mass.
May he rest in peace.
Over 5,000 individuals visited St. Vincent's Hospital's family center in the days following 9/11, looking for loved ones. Cardinal Egan also visited several times.
