A Word from Cardinal Dolan: Feast of Saint Brigid

Today is the feast of Saint Brigid of Ireland, a follower of Saint Patrick.
She was known for intense prayer, passionate learning and charity to others. She was able to feed the hungry, even in times of famine.
After 36 years in the African Mission, Sister returned to the American Province on July 4, 1992.
