A Word from Cardinal Dolan: First Saturday and the Immaculate Heart of Mary

Just as we think of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus on the first Friday of each month, we think of the Immaculate Heart of Mary on the first Saturday.

Born in Washington Heights, Monsignor Sullivan served nearly five decades at parishes in Manhattan and the Bronx.

“Recuerdo haber sentido ese impulso de recibir la Sagrada Comunión, ese deseo de estar en esa fila para recibir a Jesús”.

"I remember feeling that pull to receive Holy Communion, that desire to be on that line to receive Jesus,” said Kevin Serrano.
