It’s the first Saturday in May. In his video this morning, Cardinal Dolan reminds us of the devotions we say the first Saturday of each month.
They are especially appropriate this month as May is the month devoted to Mary.
Pope Leo revived a tradition begun by St. John Paul II in 1983 by personally placing the pallium around the shoulders of the recently named archbishops.
