A Word from Cardinal Dolan: Presentation of Jesus in the Temple

It’s February 2, 40 days after Christmas. Today we celebrate the feast of the Presentation of Jesus in the Temple. Like any other faithful Jewish couple, Mary and Joseph brought Jesus to the temple to present Him to the Lord.

Learn more about some of the characters in this story, including Simeon and Anna. Simeon reminds us that Jesus is the answer we’ve all been waiting for and the purpose of life.
