A Word from Cardinal Dolan: Saints Peter and Paul

In many countries, today is a Holy Day. Today we celebrate the feast of Saints Peter and Paul, the patrons of the city of Rome.

They are the founders of Christian Rome. Peter became the first bishop there and both of them taught and were martyred there.

Born in Washington Heights, Monsignor Sullivan served nearly five decades at parishes in Manhattan and the Bronx.

"I remember feeling that pull to receive Holy Communion, that desire to be on that line to receive Jesus,” said Kevin Serrano.
