In many countries, today is a Holy Day. Today we celebrate the feast of Saints Peter and Paul, the patrons of the city of Rome.
They are the founders of Christian Rome. Peter became the first bishop there and both of them taught and were martyred there.
St. Mary's Pro Cathedral has been elevated to full cathedral status, correcting a historical anomaly.
