Today is the feast of the first American-born citizen to be canonized as a Saint, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton.
Raised an Anglican, she converted to Catholicism later in life at the Church of St. Peter on Barclay Street in the Archdiocese of New York.
In the Gospel today, Jesus reveals Himself as the one, true, eternal God.
