A Word from Cardinal Dolan: St. Elizabeth Ann Seton

Today is the feast of the first American-born citizen to be canonized as a Saint, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton.

Raised an Anglican, she converted to Catholicism later in life at the Church of St. Peter on Barclay Street in the Archdiocese of New York.

New Community Mausoleum blessed following traditional observance for the faithful departed.
