In his video today, Cardinal Dolan explains the extended celebration of St. Patrick’s Day in the Archdiocese of New York.
He also discusses the courage of Archbishop John Hughes, the first Archbishop of New York, who raised up and defended Irish immigrants in New York.
The Catholic Church has continued this tradition of welcoming immigrants and refugees to this day.
Initiated as a fundraiser for the Wounded Warrior Project, the club has evolved significantly over the past decade.
