Today Cardinal Dolan reflects on water and Lourdes. One thing that dominates Lourdes is water. The city itself is surrounded by the River Gave. There is also the spring of the grotto that runs through spigots at the shrine and pilgrimages lining up to take baths in the water. All the time, we are reminded of our own baptism, and we are reminded that Jesus said He is the Living Waters.
