Ahead of Friday’s national March for Life in Washington, DC, the Knights of Columbus New York State Council held its annual Pro-Life Mass on Sunday in St. Patrick’s Cathedral.
Hundreds of men and women involved with the Knights filled the pews, along with the Sisters of Life, and the faithful. They all came to pray for the continued support and strengthening of the culture of life.
The Mass was celebrated by Bishop Peter Byrne, Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of New York. In his homily he reflected on what it means to be pro-life.
Although no major curial appointments or announcements have been made, one person who had a chance to know then-Cardinal Robert F. Prevost during the Synod on Synodality said the new pope takes his time and listens before speaking or taking concrete action.
