Arch Schools Spotlight: Sacred Heart High School

The Good Newsroom got a behind-the-scenes look at Sacred Heart High School, one of the archdiocese’s top-performing high schools.

We had a chance to visit during the school’s St. Francis Week, which celebrates the school’s charity and community service-minded students.

Sister Jean entered eternal life on January 15, 2025. Her teaching assignments in the Archdiocese of New York included St. Raymond Elementary School in East Rockaway, from 1951 to 1959, and St. Paul Parish in Staten Island from 1994 to 1999.
