Cardinal Timothy Dolan formally introduced Archbishop-designate Ronald Hicks during a press conference at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Manhattan. Appointed by Pope Leo XIV, Archbishop-designate Hicks reflected on his love for New York, his pastoral background, and his commitment to serving the diverse and complex needs of the Archdiocese of New York with humility, hope, and fidelity to the gospel.

New bishop promises to listen and learn as he prepares to lead upstate New York diocese.
