Archbishop Ronald Hicks Receives His Pallium From Pope Leo XIV at St. Peter’s Basilica Mass

Archbishop of New York Ronald Hicks received his pallium from Pope Leo XIV at St. Peter’s Basilica during the annual Mass for the Solemnity of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul, joining metropolitan archbishops from around the world in the ancient ceremony linking them to the Church of Rome. After Mass, he and three other U.S. metropolitan archbishops celebrated at a reception at the Pontifical North American College. The Good Newsroom spoke with Archbishop Hicks about the milestone.
 
As his beatification approaches, the archbishop's life offers lessons in faith, obedience, and love for the poor.
