Archdiocese of New York Announces Priest Transfers

The Archdiocese of New York announced that the following transfers are effective as of March 1, 2023

Effective March 1, 2023, Father Robert A. Quarato will transfer from pastor of the Parish of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, Shrub Oak to pastor of the Parish of St. James, Carmel.

The Archdiocese of New York announced that the following transfers are effective as of March 1, 2023: 

Father Robert Quarato, from pastor of the Parish of St.  Elizabeth Ann Seton, Shrub Oak to pastor of the Parish of St. James, Carmel.

Monsignor Joseph Giandurco, is named administrator of the Parish of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, Shrub Oak, while remaining as pastor of the Parish of St. Patrick, Yorktown Heights.

Father Slawomir Ciszkowski from pastor of the Parish of St. Catherine and St. Colman, Lake Katrine, to pastor of the Parish St. Stephen the First Martyr, Warwick, and pastor of the Parish of St. Joseph, Florida, and St.  Stanislaus Mission, Pine Island.

Father Miroslaw Pawlaczyk, is named pastor of St. Catherine Laboure and St. Colman Parish, Lake Katrine, while remaining as pastor of Immaculate Conception Parish, Kingston.

Father Jarlath Quinn, is named pastor of the Parish of Our Lady of Victory and St. Andrew, Manhattan, while remaining as pastor of the Parish of St. Peter and Our Lady of the Rosary, Manhattan.

In the cases where a priest is pastor of one parish while becoming pastor or administrator of another, the parishes are distinct parishes.

All six bishops will serve for one year as chairmen-elect before beginning a three-year term at the conclusion of the bishops’ 2025 Fall General Assembly.
