Ascension Food Pantry: Where Service Meets Dignity

During this season of Lent, we want to shine a light on a small but mighty food pantry that is making a big impact. At the Church of the Ascension in Manhattan, volunteers and students come together on the third Saturday of every month to serve hundreds of people in need—offering more than just food, but dignity and hope.

The goal of the series is "for people to get a deeper connection to Christ and to have a more intimate relationship with Him," said Jonathan Roumie, who portrays Jesus.
