Bishop John Bonnici offers this week’s Friday Lenten Reflection on how to live Lent as a time of preparation.

Bishop Bonnici, the Episcopal Vicar for Westchester and Rockland Counties, says that during Lent we accompany Jesus to Jerusalem and learn so much along the way, and he offers concrete things we can do to prepare for Holy Week and Easter.

This is the third in our series of spiritual reflections for Lent offered by the bishops of the Archdiocese. The reflections are published each Friday during Lent.

Ash Wednesday, February 18, is a day of public Catholicism – at St. Patrick’s Cathedral where I offer Mass each morning; and on the street during my walk to work.
