The Feast of the Ascension is this Thursday. Bishop Byrne, Episcopal Vicar of Staten Island, reflects on the great significance of this feast and how it reminds us of our earthly vocation and our ultimate destiny in Heaven.

The pope shares his reflections on the state of the world as he prepares to celebrate the first World Children’s Day in Rome, May 25-26 –- an event created to highlight the new generation as the hope for the future.
