Bishop Edmund J. Whalen, Vicar for Clergy for the Archdiocese of New York, has announced an addendum to priest transfers and retirements for the Archdiocese of New York.

Addendum to Priest Transfers – 2023

Monsignor Thomas Sandi – from Pastor of Holy Trinity, Manhattan to Administrator of Holy Trinity, Manhattan, having reached age 75

Reverend Herbert DeGaris – renewed as Pastor, Immaculate Conception, Stony Point, for another six-year term

Reverend Michael Connolly – Pastor of Holy Trinity, Poughkeepsie, while continuing as chaplain of Our Lady of Lourdes High School, Poughkeepsie

Reverend John Fraser – Pastor of Sacred Heart of Jesus, Manhattan, while remaining pastor of St. Malachy, Manhattan

Reverend Lino Gonsalves –  from Parochial Vicar, Our Lady of Victory, St. Andrew, Manhattan, to Parochial Vicar of Sacred Heart of Jesus, Manhattan

Reverend Michael Eguino – from Administrator to Pastor of St. Anselm, The Bronx

Reverend Lorenzo Ato – from Pastor, Sacred Heart, Manhattan, to Parochial Vicar, St. Anselm, The Bronx, while remaining as a consultant to the Office of Hispanic Ministry
